Have you considered a career in Workplace Health?

Why I made the switch to workplace health

Despite starting his physio career in a brand new private practice with a great mentor and case load, Employ Health physiotherapist, Ryan Tiernan, made the switch to workplace health after only 18 months. Here's why:

  1. Better Lifestyle: Split shifts and weekends are common in private practice. Working in workplace health I have a great lifestyle, and my weekends are mine to spend with family and friends.
  2. No financial relationship with my patients: Instead of focusing on generating income for the practice I get to focus 100% on what is best for the patient.
  1. It makes financial sense: Workplace health can be a financially rewarding field and is more stable than private practice.
  2. I don't look at the same 4 walls everyday: I am out on the road working with a different business everyday. I love working that way.

I am a musculoskeletal physio doing hands on work everyday with some of Australia's most iconic businesses.

Use your musculoskeletal physio skills to deliver great outcomes for injured workers.

Imagine using your musculoskeletal physio skills to deliver outstanding patient outcomes in the workplace, while having the lifestyle that could never be possible in private practice.

The Old Way

Reactive injury management

Reactive injury management is where the business starts to intervene at the time when an injury report is filled out. This inefficient approach to workplace health costs time, money and impacts your company's morale.

The New Way

Proactive injury management

Using the latest industry research, technology, and a systems approch that is customised to each business, Employ Health has helped move many organisations to a preventative and predictive injury management model.
